5. We are headed to Nose Hill tomorrow from 9:30 – 2:00pm. We will be building and testing our shelter. We will better be able to understand the portability of our materials as the walk is about 1.5 km each way. Please ensure you bring your tarps, rope and other materials your group has determined you might need.
6. Sports Day is Friday
We will be eating our lunch at Nose Hill tomorrow so please bring a litter less lunch with extra snacks and water.
It is supposed to be over 20 Degrees tomorrow so you may want to bring a hat, sunscreen and bug spray. Dressing in layers will also be important.
Please bring your pencil, eraser and journal.

What did you learn today?
We have been divided in to grade 5 and 6 for the last few weeks. In Social Studies, Grade 5's are looking at Canadian Celebrations and the Grade 6's are reviewing Democracy in history and today.
How did you show what you learned?
The grade 5s are learning about the Chinese migration and grade 6's talked about the class structure of Ancient Athens.
What do you need to learn next?
The Grade 5s are using the textbook and looking at pictures and first hand stories.
The Grade 6s had a class discussion and created a visual model of structure.
