Agenda:
1 - Read 20 minutes each night - on Raz Kids too if you are signed up
2 - Treat Day is on Tuesday
3 - Pink Shirt Day is on Wednesday
4 - Clay for Kids will start next week - our class is Thursday morning.
5 - Next Friday, March 1st, is a PD Day
Our next math unit will be looking at fractions and decimals which will lead us into a study of measurement.
Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We learned about the Arctic Winter Games during our Fresh Air Friday.
We also noticed that the sun is appearing much higher in the sky! Ask me how we determine the angle of the sun's position.
How did you show what you learned?
We ran various stations for our little buddies - snow building, snow shoeing, seal walk, high kick, harpoon toss, stick and bone game, curling and the run jump.
What do you need to learn next?
We enjoyed the opportunity to be the leaders and create an exciting day for our little buddies.
