Agenda:
1) We will have a mandatory parent meeting for Outdoor School on Tuesday April 11th from 5 - 6 in the Library.
Outdoor School is from May 2 - May 5th. You can be paying for this overnight field trip online and in installments over the next few months if you would prefer.
2) Please remember to bring your items for our Family Dance bucket - we have Division 1 and 2 Boys - due by tomorrow!!!
3) We have our Clay For Kids Residency on Thursday April 6th in the afternoon.
We will have them again on April 12th from 11:00 - 12:00.
4)The Family Dance is on Friday April 7th!!!
5) Our next math unit will be about Primes, Composites, Multiples, Factors and Integers.
6) Please bring back your indoor shoes.
7) WE club kids need to make their bookmarks by Thursday!
8) Bring in a Memorable Character idea for tomorrow.
Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We proved that Air Takes Up Space.
How did you show what you learned?
We were unable to blow up a balloon (even Sammy and all his hot air couldn't do it) until we cut a hole in the bottom of the pop bottle. And, we observed that water cannot flow into a sealed beaker. Well, it drips very slowly actually.
What do you need to learn next?
We will do one more experiment to prove that air takes up space and then move onto Air has mass.
