Agenda:
1) We will have a mandatory parent meeting for Outdoor School on Tuesday April 11th from 5 - 6 in the Library.
Outdoor School is from May 2 - May 5th. You can be paying for this overnight field trip online and in installments over the next few months if you would prefer.
2) We have our Clay For Kids Residency Wednesday from 11:00 - 12:00. We will be creating a small glass piece to decorate the fences around our school yard.
3) There will be a Social Studies quiz on Wednesday and you will want to use the review sheet provided today to study from.
4) You need to get your parents' signature on: (Due Tuesday)

What did you learn today?
We continued our study of Elaborative Detail (ask me to see what I wrote today). Today's focus was Critical Settings.
How did you show what you learned?
We chose a picture of a setting. We used our 5 senses to pause the action and write a paragraph to create an image in our reader's mind.
What do you need to learn next?
We will be doing the same thing with an important object from home (possibly a talisman) to share with our classmates tomorrow.
