1) Our grade 5/6s will be visiting Simon Fraser for the performance of The Little Mermaid on March 8th from 9:30 - 11:30. If your parent(s) would like to join us, please let Mrs. Saunders know.
2) For tomorrow's Fresh Air Friday please be prepared to head to Whispering Woods. Dress in layers and ensure you have lots of warm clothes as it will be chilly in the morning.
3) Our Outdoor School on May 2 - May 5th seems far away but we wanted to give you a reminder about these dates and that you can be paying for this overnight field trip online and in installments over the next few months if you would prefer. There will be an informative parent meeting about 1 month prior to our departure so please watch for information about this in the next month or so.
4) Just a heads up - Grade 6s will visit Simon Fraser on March 22nd for our grade 7 Transition Day.
5) Interactive Math Journal will be due on Thursday this week.
6) March 9th - Our next Spirit Day is Jersey Day and it is Fun Lunch too.
7) March 14th - Ski/Snowboard Lesson - 9:00 - 3:00

What did you learn today?
From Mission Impossible, we learned that we needed patience and it wasn't about finishing the course but about what we could learn. We even appreciated that the course was difficult because we learned more about working hard!
How did you show what you learned?
We learned and got frustrated but we kept going even though we didn't finish the course!
What do you need to learn next?
We want to apply this to other areas in our school and our life.
