Scholastic Book Orders due Tuesday March 7th.
1) Our grade 5/6s will be visiting Simon Fraser for the performance of The Little Mermaid on March 8th from 9:30 - 11:30. If your parent(s) would like to join us, please let Mrs. Saunders know.
3) Please get your parents to sign your Operations with Decimals math tests - due by Monday.
4) Our Outdoor School on May 2 - May 5th seems far away but we wanted to give you a reminder about these dates and that you can be paying for this overnight field trip online and in installments over the next few months if you would prefer. There will be an informative parent meeting about 1 month prior to our departure so please watch for information about this in the next month or so.
5) Just a heads up - Grade 6s will visit Simon Fraser on March 22nd for our grade 7 Transition Day.
6) Interactive Math Journal will be due on Thursday this week.
7) March 9th - Our next Spirit Day is Jersey Day and it is Fun Lunch too.

What did you learn today?
While we were outside, we discovered a red mystery substance at the bottom of the trunks of some of the trees.
How did you show what you learned?
In our Fresh Air Friday Field Journal, we wrote down some questions that we have about this substance and created a plan for what we can do about it.
What do you need to learn next?
We will investigate what this substance is and report our findings to the students of Dr. Coffin School. Also, we want to connect with the City of Calgary and an Arborist to see how they can help us.
