Mindful Monday

Agenda:
Scholastic Book Orders due Tuesday March 7th. 
1) Our grade 5/6s will be visiting Simon Fraser for the performance of The Little Mermaid on Wednesday, March 8th from 9:30 - 11:30. If your parent(s) would like to join us, please let Mrs. Saunders know. 

2) March 14th - Ski/Snowboard Lesson - 9:00 - 3:00 - Field trip forms will be coming home today. Please be aware that there will be a $5.00 fee to supplement the cost of the field trip and this fee must be paid in cash. Thank you. Forms and cash due Thursday.

3)  Our Outdoor School on May 2 - May 5th seems far away but we wanted to give you a reminder about these dates and that you can be paying for this overnight field trip online and in installments over the next few months if you would prefer. There will be an informative parent meeting about 1 month prior to our departure so please watch for information about this in the next month or so.

4) Just a heads up - Grade 6s will visit Simon Fraser on March 22nd for our grade 7 Transition Day. 

5) March 9th - Our next Spirit Day is Jersey Day and it is Fun Lunch too.

6) Tyler Enfield, the author of Wrush, is coming back to Dr. EW Coffin on Wednesday March 15th. Order forms for copies of his book are coming home today. 

Learning Intentions
What did you learn today?
We have started our new gym unit, racquets. 
How did you show what you learned?
We were in 2 groups. One group used scoops the other played pass with large orange racquets. We rotated in each station.  
What do you need to learn next?
We will play some more and next week there will be badminton nets.
