2) Thursday May 10th - will be the real PAT for the grade 6s
3) We are headed to the Medicine Wheel on Nose Hill tomorrow!!!! Field trip forms came home yesterday - these must be returned by tomorrow morning!!!
Please come prepared - backpack, bring a few snacks as we will be there all morning, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, bug spray, dress in layers, sturdy walking/hiking shoes (no rubber boots or sandals), any medications that you may require and sunglasses.
4) Mark your calendars - Thursday May 17th is our field trip to Fish Creek Park
5) Scholastic Book Orders are due by Tuesday May 8th
6) Our class is hosting Treat Day on Tuesday May 15th

Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We learned how to write a story and a news article in a short amount of time. We learned how to budget our time well and stay focused on the details.
How did you show what you learned?
We wrote a Practice PAT. Some of us typed and some of us printed. We budgeted our time so we could finish both parts in enough time.
What do you need to learn next?
We will review the stories and news articles we wrote today next week. We will apply the skills and strategies to our PAT next week.
