What's Happening in Math -
We are currently working on the Shape and Space unit. We have been working with 2D and 3D shapes and naming lines and angles. We are moving into types of quadrilaterals and triangles. Our IMJ allows us to visualize these different concepts and will provide us with our own Personal Math Dictionary when we are all done!
What did you learn today?
We learned how to tell if someone was running vs. walking, the direction they were heading and the stories prints can tell.
How did you show what you learned?
We went outside and played (we mean learned) in the snow. We created footprint and animal print stories in the fresh snow below Whispering Woods.
What do you need to learn next?
We want to illustrate them on paper back in class and share these with our buddies.
