Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We learned life long lessons.
We had the opportunity to experience how to live a healthy lifestyle.
We had the opportunity to solve a real life crime.
How did you show what you learned?
We went to the Police Interpretive Center for the day. We visited 3 of the display areas - Drugs and Alcohol, Healthy Relationships, and On Line Safety. We also worked through DNA, fingerprints, footprints, hair and fibre evidence to solve the crime.
What do you need to learn next?
We can continue our science unit and apply the knowledge from today's field trip.
We can discuss what we saw today with our families. Here is a video we watched about the Fentanyl crisis -

We might come home with lots of ideas and questions from our field trip.
The Police Interpretive Center is open to the public and is FREE every Friday and Saturday.
