Agenda:

4 - You have a math quiz on Thursday - the review information is listed below - bring home your IMJ and your purple notebook to study
5 - Read 20 - 30 minutes everyday - this includes reading to self, reading to others and listening to reading.

7 - Science - Snowprint Stories are due on Friday

Triangles and Quadrilaterals Review
Check for Understanding (your quiz J) is on Thursday Oct. 9th


1)   Identify the different Types of Triangle – know the lines of symmetry and naming them based on their attributes.
- Equilateral triangle –
- Isosceles triangle –
- Scalene triangle –
 - Right-angled triangle –
You can also include obtuse angle and acute angle when naming the triangles.

2)   Quadrilaterals –
-       draw and name various quadrilaterals

3)   Know the attributes of quadrilaterals. Be able to:
-       match the attribute to the shape
-       Attributes may include: angle type, shape name, parallel lines, lines of symmetry, etc.

4)   Draw a shape from given attributes
- draw these by following step by step instructions


In order to feel prepared for Thursday, review your notes in your purple math notebook. Look back at the worksheets we did. And, use your IMJ (Interactive Math Journal) to manipulate the different types of angles, triangles and quadrilaterals.

We starting writing down the stages of what needs to be in a comic book - beginning, build up, middle, climax, resolution and the end.

We will start by drawing and then writing our comic strip.
