HOMEWORK - Your month of tracking continues - please look up each evening/night and observe our moon! Record it on your monthly tracking sheet. I will do a spot check of your moon phases chart one day next week.

Our School Science Fair is next Thursday - Feb. 7th. Parents and families are welcome to come and see all of the projects in our gym. We ask that you come between 9:15 and 11:45 as students are being judged in the afternoon. Thanks for all your support.

What did you learn today?
We learned a way to Crack the Code for spelling rules.

We had Mrs. Polski join our spelling class and she shared a few spelling rules with us. See the picture about words with the long a sound and see what you can learn - ask me once you think you know!
What do you need to learn next?
We will have Mrs. Polski come back next week to share some more rules with us and now we need to apply these new ideas to our daily work.
