Regions of Canada

Agenda:
1 - Remembrance Day Assembly tomorrow at 10:45 am. Please wear black (dark) pants and white (light) top. Unless you are in the movement group then you are expected to wear all black (dark) - bring a photo of a family member who has belonged to the armed forces during the war or peace keeping missions.
2 - Please bring a quarter or a small donation for the poppy
3 - Choir members need to bring in their Hitmen ticket permission form and money - due Friday Nov. 13
4 - Mrs. Saunders' math group talk with your parents about "When would you use estimation in your real life?"
5 - Math test signature
6 - No School Wednesday

Highlights
What did you learn today?
We learned about specific aspects of regions of Canada.
How did you show what you learned?
We did this by taking jot notes about the landscape and printing off pictures about the region as well as identifying specific occupations of people who live in the region. 
What do you need to learn next?
We will do deeper research about one region of Canada. For example, Interior Plains, Canadian Shield, Cordillera, Arctic, Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Lowlands, Atlantic regions.
