Whispering Woods Wonder

Agenda:
1) Math Homework - complete page 2 (page 21)

2 ) Dr. Ken Fry is visiting tomorrow morning from Olds College. We will be discussing the red powder (Our What Mite it Be? investigation) we have found with him and taking him to Whispering Woods so that he can collect samples to take back to his lab. We are hopeful he will be able to help us understand what we have discovered.
You need to have your question ready for Dr. Fry tomorrow morning.
2) This Friday we would like to walk to Nose Hill to see if we can find the same red powder on the trees there. We will need a few parent volunteers to join us for the walk. Please let your classroom teacher know if you are able to join us. Thank you, in advance.

3) Tomorrow - Fun Lunch

4) April 21st - Science Fair

5) April 22nd - Young Writers' Conference

Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We learned about our Social Studies mini-project today.
How did you show what you learned?
We are going to be studying the Birth Of Democracy and Ancient Athens. We learned about what would need to be in our project and how we could present what we learn.
What do you need to learn next?
We will be working on it in class tomorrow. We will create the rubric for this project early next week.
