5 - Grade 1/2 learning celebration is Thursday afternoon.

Learning Intention:
What did you learn today?
We learned how to operate microscopes and viewed different types of organisms under the microscopes.
How did you show what you learned?
We viewed pollen, salt crystals, a mouth smear, paramecium. We also observed Zack preparing and creating a slide of our algae.
What do you need to learn next?

We will continue to watch the algae grow and be prepared for Dr. Strauss to come on Friday. We also need to pay close attention to the pump in Mr. P's room as it stopped working over the weekend. The algae still grew but not as well as the one in the library. We learned that the pump does make a difference in the growth.
