Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We learned about the impact of a meteorite can make when it hits the earth's surface.
How did you show what you learned?
We worked as a group with 3 different sizes of balls. We threw the balls into the snow to create a crater. We observed how different angles of impact created different types of shapes (craters) in the snow.
What do you need to learn next?
We will continue working on our science centers and apply what we learned today to our Meteor Center with sand and rocks.
