Olympic Star!

Agenda:
This Friday we are hoping to enjoy our last Fresh Air Friday up on Nose Hill. Saakokoto will be with us and will share stories of the land and Summer Solstice with each class. We require volunteers for the walk to Nose Hill. If you are able to volunteer, please let me know. We are also planning to have some fun activities up on the hill. We will head up to Nose Hill at 9 AM and return by 11:30.

1) Book Club Role and reading are due Thursday

2) Monday June 24 - is our Sports Day  from 9 til noon - if your parent would like to volunteer, please let Mr. P vipedenko@cbe.ab.ca or Mrs. Saunders know mlsauders@cbe.ab.ca

3) The final assembly will be on Tuesday am at 9am, feel free to join us if you'd like

4) The grade 6 farewell is on Tuesday - have you RSVP'd to sharonwilde@shaw.ca

5) Next Wednesday is our last day - don't forget it is a half day.

6) Complete your birth story homework from HS with a family member.

What did you learn today?
We learned about perseverance, focus and fun and making our dreams come true. 
How did you show what you learned?
We listened to an Olympic Athlete who committed in the last 2 Olympics and placed 5th. Her name is Kimberly McRae and she is a friend of Robin's.  Thanks Robin!
What do you need to learn next?
We were asked to think about a goal are dream we want to achieve.
